4 new shocks
Work Done:
Bought and installed 4 new CO2 shocks. $45/pair rear, $10/pair front (used from Volkswerks). Added gear oil, replaced points, adjusted fan belt, adjusted front link pins.
Notes:
Man, did this ever need to happen. This gave me an extra 3" lift in the back, but more importantly made the ride much less bone-shatteringly rough. It's still quite stiff, but the front shocks provided zero shock absorbance. I could push the front end down with my hand before.
Cost:
$253 ($198 labor, $55 parts)
