| McCain's robo-calls to me |
The McCain campaign just called me. Actually, no, they had a machine call me because they can't afford to call me in person. Or they have no respect for me. Or think I'm an idiot. Or think that I have nothing better to do. Or all of the above.
They both went to voicemail and I recorded them for posterity:
Annoying robo-call saying lies about Obama #1
Annoying robo-call saying lies about Obama #2 (Partial)
At the very least, I would like a robo-call to make some sense. What does Obama's "lack of experience" have to do with Biden talking about how the next president will be tested (not to mention the distortion of the quote). Then it goes on to talk in scare quotes about Obama giving "civil rights to terrorists" and to flog my poor ears with the "without preconditions" dead horse. Oy. I don't see how this is this going to convince anyone of anything except that John McCain is losing so badly that he feels the need to send out scary robo-calls in his home state. |
